I wholeheartedly agree but the people have spoken, they prefer convenience over quality. If Blu Ray is FM radio and DVD is AM radio, UHD disc must be satellite radio. It'll never go mainstream and will always be niche. So I doubt the survive of Redbox or not is going to make a difference to the acceptance of UHD.
