Yeah, after looking a little more into what he's been up to, that's probably true. Looks like he was arrested on Domestic Abuse charges back in 2007, although the original Polish article is down,
this is all I could find on it.
He was in an advisory role to the Polish National Team after he left the NHL, but as per
this, was dropped from his role after a physical altercation at a banquet with a couple of the team members.
Looks like he pulled his players off the ice and forfeited a game earlier this year:
