Kane deserves a lot of blame for not being an idiot a bad teammate but I blame management for letting it get to this. Cheveldayoff has put himself in a no-win situation of having to sell low. He's obviously known for some time that Kane isn't popular in the locker room but by not attempting to resolve the issue by moving Kane he's let it build to this and now Kane's relationship with his teammates is probably beyond repair and every team in the league is going to be very cautious expecting to buy low. That team could be a lot better if the GM wasn't so scared to make an impactful trade.
