On Corsi? That the Jets put the puck towards the Flames net more than the Flames put it toward theirs. That suggests that the Jets controlled the puck a bit more - particularly at times where they were chasing the game. But one should never look at a single stat to determine how the game went. i.e.: We blocked a lot more pucks (resulting in better Fenwick numbers) and held the Jets to less than 20 shots. That tells us that while they might have had the puck more, they did nothing with it. They spent much of the game being forced into weak shots toward the net that had no hope of generating a scoring chance. Also, most of our goals were off a rush and were put in with the first shot attempt. When the opposing goalie is letting in the first shot, that kind of eliminates the Corsi-building rebound chances.
The Flames were hardly outplayed.
