On these questions:

Where I am clearly rebuilding, should I be looking at trading someone like 35 year old Brian Campbell? High contract, but a decent D who could be a nice addition to a playoff bound team with cap space. Then I could clear up some cap space and sign some young kids and hope for the best.

All depends on the return you can get. But yes - he would be a guy I look to move. But make sure you get a decent return. His contract for next year hurts his value though.

I have no 1st round pick for the upcoming year, and am guessing I should be trying to gain one, through some sort of trade, right?

Depends on your approach. Some GMs really get into the draft, some don't. I wouldn't overpay just to get a 1st. This draft has good buzz around it so it may be tougher to get a decent pick.

I think I'm happy with Elliot in net, but should I be moving Dubnyk, and giving the back up to Wegewood or Forsberg instead? (and saving more money)
- Dubnyk is having a good year in the NHL so his value may increase after a good re-rate in the off-season. Right now I don't think he gets you much.

Overall thoughts
- Goaltending is solid
- D is in pretty good shape too.
- Your forwards are you weak spot, so think about how you can turn Campbell into help up front. You can move him for a similar veteran on a stiff contract but one that can you help up front. You just don't have any front line players. That's what you need to address now or in the off-season.

Your prospect base is pretty terrible, so to some extent you need to decide if you are going to do a quick re-tool or a longer re-build. That then dictates what you do with a guy like Campbell.
