This is a chance to improve the game. Smoking messes with everything and by the middle of the season my short game was getting crazy good because you start to get more sensitive fingers and hands.

GOOD LUCK!
You quit just before golf season, so a definite accomplishment.
I look forward to better chipping, never thought of that, that's way better than extra days added on to my life. The thing that killed me about smoking and golfing was golfing with my Dad, as I hid my smoking now for the last 10 years or so. Anyways, you have those bad shots and alls you can think about is how much you want to smoke but can't. Not to mention just the general smoking a ton while golfing aspect, good or bad shots. Hated it.

Like you, I think I've reached the point that if I don't quit now, I might as well just not, ever.

PS, I've gained about 20lbs, but, that is fairly normal this time of the year. If I don't lose it in the summer, I'll blame it on smoking.
