Too many things to comment on- ecstatic with the result. Yes, a bizarre decision at the end of the game by the Seahawks, but probably not as bad as some are making it out-
There was 25 seconds left on the clock and the Seahawks had one timeout. If Lynch was stopped on the 2nd down run, the Seahawks would have been forced to use the last timeout and throw the ball anyway on 3rd down. Everyone in the stadium expected Lynch to run on the second down play, so Caroll decided to bump things up and make the throw on 2nd down, leaving the run for 3rd and maybe 4th down. Regardless of what anyone thinks, it is much more likely that Wilson throws an incompletion or TD on that throw instead of an INT. Not sure how his stats changed from the awful 4 INT game 2 weeks ago, but Wilson had only thrown 2 red zone interceptions ever coming into these playoffs. The point is that Butler made the play- the INT was hardly a guarantee.
