Huska Interview:
Players only practiced Thursday and Friday because of All-Star Break and many players had left town. Thursday was to skate rust off, Friday was a high-tempo practice and working on defensive systems.
ECHL announcement has no impact on the team. Guys understand what they are doing and trying to accomplish here. Crowd gives them good energy. Players only focused on play-off push not the ECHL announcements or team moving again.
Having a tougher stretch with limited games over the last little while. Schedule getting busier including a longer road trip so they want to stay sharp. Schedule is almost non-stop until April now so he expects the team to play better because they will play more regularly.
Huska sees nothing that Sieloff needs to do or anything he's done with regards to him sitting as a healthy scratch often. It's a case of too many defenceman on the team and trying to massage them all into the lineup. Feels he made improvements in his game from beginning of the year. Coaches trust him on the ice. Looking to get him in the lineup sooner or later. He's "lost" his spot to Ramage because Ramage has earned what he's gotten. He's been one of the better defencemen on the ice the last month. Cannot justify taking time away from him at this point.
