Exactly. Maybe we take a chance on someone else after this season if Byron cant put up numbers. They certainly wont produce any less goals. We need a player in his role getting 15 goals per season.
To me, if Byron scored more often, he could get a breakaway a game and not score on any of them and it would not matter. Its the fact that he doesn't score enough period, breakaway or not.
The guy has a ton of energy and a ton of speed, but unless that turns into some sort of offence, the Flames will eventually cut him loose and try someone else. You never know until you put a player out there, and give him a solid chance.
I would love to see Byron start producing, and stick around forever. Sometimes it doesn't work out.
