I play in a rec league that's run out of the mall near my house (

lame, I know--but it isn't like I have tons of options). The rink is built underneath a vaulted, peaked ceiling made out of--you guessed it--glass.
I don't know who the genius was who decided to build an ice rink in a greenhouse--but that person should be beaten with pillowcases full of soap. "hot hockey" IS better than no hockey, but when you're collapsing from heat exhaustion while standing knee deep in slush, it can be hard to remember that.
Incidentally, 104 here today again. Yuck. I tried going for a run with my dogs at 6:30 yesterday morning and almost hurled from the heat. Today I'm staying in the air conditioning.
