Wasn't planning on going to the game last night as I thought I had a friend who wanted the tickets. That fell through, so I took my oldest son. As he opined in the first period - "this game is better than it should be". Kid is wise beyond his 14 years.
Was damn happy to see Colborne get that goal, he was busting ass all night. Watching Johnny stickhandle continues to be the most fun I have had at a Flames game in a long time. Diaz was surprisingly solid, and I think Byron is showing glimmers of coming back to better games ahead.
All in all, a fun night at the Dome.
