This sounds like something you'd hear from the Women's Christian Temperance Union in the 20's.
An adult having a drink or two at lunch or in the office isn't a big deal, and there are plenty of "professional workplaces", including my own, where the attitude towards having a drink isn't nearly so puritanical.
