Just an update (I know this is an old post) but CPS was doing a pilot project (or perhaps just a roll out) of this system last year. I got a distracted driving ticket and the cop just printed it out in his car for me.
jar_e can probably speak to whether it was just a pilot project or whether it's being implemented across the board.
Still got it down from $175 to $75 in court, though!
