Doesn't anyone see the issue where Edmonton doesn't have a proven #1 starter? Hiller is a proven NHL starter. He isn't Henrik Lundqvist, no doubt, but he can haul the mail if need be. No one knows for sure if Ramo can, and it isn't worth the risk IMO. Hiller isn't breaking the bank, and we don't have any cap issues. I will say if it wasn't for Hiller's exceptional play at the beginning of the season we wouldn't be far off Edmonton's pace.
Ramo should without a doubt should be the trade bait.

The thing is though that if Ortio is to stay...it is as the starter. You dont want him in Calgary as the back-up at this point if he can be in Addy starting and playing a ton. Thats all part of the development.
So either he starts in Calgary, in which case you trade Hiller, or he starts in Adirondack in which case you make no moves in net right now at all.
