As for Wimbledon and Roland Garros, they could gain a lot from lightning it up a little like the Aus and US open have done. At least us fans get to see some personality from time to time.

It's not a controversy, it's simply idiotic. You think Rory McIlroy walks off 18 at St. Andrews and gets asked some absurd, irrelevant question? Russell Wilson asked about fashion after the Super Bowl? I don't even think it's sexist or anything like that, simply pointless and awkward, it's putting them on the spot with nothing that has to do with why we care about them: the sport itself.
The only thing about Genie's personality I learned from that is she can handle an awkward situation well. There's all kinds of off the court profiles and interviews where they can talk about fashion and personality. Right after a match I'd kinda prefer they talk about the sport itself, like most sports do.
But hopefully we get some more post match awkwardness right up till next Saturday. Genie is up 2nd on Laver tonight so between 6:30 and 7:00pm MST most likely.
