It's funny, I've gone back to see Hartley's quotes from his time in Atlanta or Colorado, and they're so stiff and unforgiving. I believe he also worked for a TV broadcaster in Quebec after his NHL days. It sounds like since then he got a better appreciation for the media and realized they need something to work with.
