If the information in there is correct that the league was planning to inspect the balls again at halftime ahead of the game then this is far more serious than the articles I read earlier led me to believe. If that is the case (why wouldn't it be) then it does not appear to be error on the part of the referees as I was thinking, but an incident to me that is worse than 'Spygate'.
If the NFL finds the Patriots guilty in this then they should suspend Brady. He's the one who is ultimately behind the decision, not Belichick, although BB would have to give his ok to it too.
