Snark aside, yes, as serious as Getbak was above. I don't doubt that they probably realized after announcing it a year ago, that they got feedback from Bombers ticket holders and the general public that they weren't going to get people paying an average of $200 per ticket X 40000+ tickets for two winter events in 3 months. People would choose one or the other, but not both.

Wrangling the local sponsors required for a large portion of both events would be an issue, to outlay that sort of $ in a 3 month time frame as well.

Whatever it is, you really think it was the lack of an available/suitable date holding this back from going forward? The place is as inhabitable as McMahon or the stadium in Regina is in the winter no matter how much nicer it is.
