It is getting there but not quite. I think they have a real good chance in righting the ship though.
If you go back to the 7 game segments breakdown, with 11 seven game segments you want to get at least 8 points in most of them. Just the 8 in each gets you to 88 points with 5 games remaining. So it really is important to grab 10 or 9 points in a few segments to make it easier on you in those final 5 games (if 95 is the target).
With that said the Flames have produced 8, 10, 10, 10, 1, and 8 points in the first 6 segments. They currently are sitting at 8 points with 3 games remaining in their current segment which will help only help if they get some points in the last three games. Still not much room for error as the team needs to win and bank a few extra points in the remaining four segments so they have a chance with the final 5 games in April.
