On paper, the Flames do not have the best roster when compared to teams like LA or Chicago. Because of this, a losing skid has to be expected or at least very likely. We have a young team and they are learning as a team which involves ups and downs.
I don't expect to make the playoffs, I hope we do. If we do, I think we'll have a pretty chance at beating any team we face. These guys seem to love the clutch situations and rise to the occasion. I'm happy as Flames fans, nobody showed up at the rink wearing paper bags or tossing jerseys like other fans during shorter losing streaks.
We should treat the losing streak exactly like the players should - it happened and it's done, don't need to think about it ever again.
