I can't vote for either of the first two options as we have went from battling for first in the division pre-skid to battling for the last playoff spot now, even after the four-game streak. But I can't vote for the third option because it is a non sequitur. I have no idea how a winning streak makes a losing streak more likely, and even if it did, it has no relevance to the question asked.

So, I choose option 4: "Not completely". Our early success was enough that the eight game losing streak didn't completely bury us. But this winning streak has only partially dug us out of the hole. It also gives us, basically, a freebie tomorrow night in Anaheim. But this team still needs to make hay against three very bad teams when we come home.
