His speed is on display in Adirondack for sure. It's harder to get open ice though, and defensemen aren't caught flat-footed as often as in junior.
But you can see his speed when he breaks into the middle of the ice or tries to go wide on a D-man.
He is also good at picking his spots. He waits for opportunities and open ice before turning on the after burners
