FANTASTIC post Cali Flames Fan. I usually like to stop by and update the forum on the sharks when they play the flames, but you did a great job of it here. My only quibble is this line about Hertl - it's correct except I'd say that Hertl had been assigned to take Desjardins' spot on the 4th line center when Desjardins took one game off for paternity leave and that line instantly got hot. Hertl scored in that game and a linemate scored in the next one. Look for that line to be the third line tonight. Desjardins can't seem to get back into the lineup now after being the 4th line center all year.
Karlsson has been a complete surprise. There's nothing special about this guy, but he's Pavelski-like-hockeysmart, knows where to be on the ice, knows what to do once he's there and then he tries like hell to do it. Not many SJ fans had even heard of him when he was called up to fill the spot vacated when Thornton was injured.
CGY has a really fun style of hockey to watch this year and it seems to elevate the sharks a bit when they play each other. The Sharks seem to be rounding into form - again, so I expect this to be another fun game and a strong one for the sharks. Always fun watching Johnny Hockey
