I have a hard time blaming him for Raymond or Engelland since there was a bidding war for both guys. We needed a D, and I guess you'd have to look at who else was signed to match against Engelland. Raymond came off a good year and had mostly good years before that, too.

I think the Bollig trade he got taken, but it happens. Maybe he should have let Burke do the trading (wasn't it Burke who got a 2nd for Berra?)
