I would stay away from Acer, I've nver heard anything positive about the brand. Sharp has had very good LCDs in the past, but mostly for the Aquous line. But your link for the Sharp TV is the sames as the Phillips one from Memory Express? Is this the one?

I don't see that this one has an HDMI input?
