The two most interesting things to keep an eye on:

1) What will happen with Glencross? My gut tells me a deal will not be worked out unless Glencross has a change of heart and takes somewhat of a discount (which means a raise, but south of 4 million per season, and 3 year term or less). I just don't think he will do so. Will be interesting to see if he waives, Flames sign him to a contract that I think most won't like, or walks for nothing in the off-season.

2) The goalies. I prefer Ramo. I think he has had less 'bad games' than Hiller, but Hiller has had more 'awesome' games than Ramo. Ramo is younger. Hiller has another year on his contract. Ortio has shown he is ready for some regular backup duty (meaning, he is ready for 20-30 games or so, maybe more) due to his strong play in the AHL the last two seasons and a very good first game of the season for him (though that is a very small sample size - I thought his NHL starts last year were between 'good' to 'mediocre', but think he is the future starting goalie for the Flames in the years to come). I much prefer Ramo's style - it is difficult to build a game-plan around jamming the net when a goalie has great rebound control. Hiller is a blocker, and in my opinion, blockers are more prone to having their games fall apart when the defence is smaller, as the bigger forwards can come in and jam the net for those 2nd and 3rd chances more readily.
