Then again, perhaps the malaise extends to Canuck management as well. You would have to wonder where they were on the Drew Short deal when the Panthers gave up the big young righthanded centre for just Corban Knight due to the fact they have so many good, healthy centres these days. Panthers GM Dale Tallon had nothing but good things to say about the 2009 draft and he appears to be pretty much exactly what Vancouver could use right now.
The Flames were walking on air with the deal Saturday night but apparently the Canucks were less enthused, despite the long term black hole which exists up the middle behind Henrik Sedin and Bo Horvat when another solid prospect would appear to have been just what the doctor ordered.

He writes like the Canucks are playing like the Oilers - only the Oilers are that bad. He could at least try to spell Shore's name right. Vancouver reporters are no good?
Glad to read that the Flames are happy to get Shore and that a lot of other teams are mad that they missed him.
