I remember that this was discussed a lot on this board last year. There was a lot of questions around her husband who was/is a cop and his involvement and the fact that the couple was allowed to leave the scene of the accident. There were rumors that she was intoxicated and let go with a wink.

Pretty tragic situation.

There has been a I guess ethics complaint about the police investigation but I doubt it will go anywhere
