If I'd had to guess, I'd bet that the people who have bricked their phones probably did something to create the problem themselves. They just don't know what they did.
Some people should stick to an iPhone. Works great, just as long as you're happy using in the way Apple decided it should be used.

Well that's the most condescending piece of garbage I've read in a long time. I've been an Android user since Froyo, I'm quite comfortable with rooting and installing custom ROM's on my devices, and I know exactly what I "did" to my One, which is nothing. I've put Cyanogen on every other device I've owned, so with this phone I didn't see a need to do anything to it as it suited my preferences out of the box. But now I'm going to be forced down the custom ROM route hoping that someone has fixed all the issues that this badly managed company hasn't been able to (reading various forums, I'm definitely not alone in experiencing the issues I've noted)
So you're lucky, you got a phone that hasn't experienced any of the many technical issues that so many have had. My original launch Xbox 360 is also still running flawlessly, does that mean it's a perfect product and anyone that had a RROD issue is an idiot?
