There's one that's been on all the time for Intact Insurance.
It's some guy talking about their 'great' guarantee to start a claim within 30 minutes. So he calls Intact and starts a timer after a tree crashes through his skylight. The lady answers, and indicates they need his policy number. She then says "okay we'll get someone out to assess your claim right away." Wow, great, that was quick! Then it jumps back to the guy who stop a timer at like 18 minutes.
What? So presumably this guy got the run-around for 18 minutes before they even decided what they were going to do. He's not a new customer, didn't have to sign up for anything, he's an existing customer trying to make a claim. That's horrible service! I can just imagine them cutting out all the footage of him being put on hold, her cycling through to higher-ups, trying to make it look like he doesn't have coverage, etc., until they finally throw him a bone. Terrible ad.
