Here's another one that I think would be a healthy read for a lot of people here. It's only tangentially related to the shooting, but I think it serves as an important counterpoint to the storyline of east vs. west.
This is not East vs. West. This is radicals vs. normal people. Don't let radicals change your opinions about islam or religion. Instead, have a laugh at them. It's what other muslims are doing already.
