I have never met a group of people more willing to contribute to society and become part of the community. They don't just intermingle with their own people like some refugee groups do, or never learn English/French. You never heard about a recent slaying done by rival Filipino gangs. They're all thankful to be given the opportunity to get a better life in Canada and always make the best of it.
I'm not one to paint whole groups of people with one brush, but others that come here could learn a lot about good citizenship from them.

Haha what?? Don't get me wrong their hard workers, really hard actually but saying something like that is just mind boggling. I'm sure not ALL Filipino's fit your "stereotype" and also not all ethic groups other than Filipinos are always violent etc. I'm not sure if you remember hearing about this but there was a group of Filipinos that started a scam foundation and was walking around the U of C campus and other places I believe asking for donations to this foundation that didn't exist. I'm not saying all of them do this but there is a "good and bad" side of everyone.
