I thought there was a Bob Hartley Quotes thread but couldn't find it. I just really wanted to share this quote because I love it. Really speaks to building a winning culture that contributes to developing young players properly. Some posters think that the concept of a "losing culture" or a "winning culture" is BS, but I couldn't agree less. Hartley was talking about our culture after praising Detroit's leadership and how that has created so much consistency for them. I love how he talks about our leaders being good people.

“You’re a young player and you come up in this organization (Detroit), you have two great role models. Us on this side right now, our captain is our best role model. He plays the game the right way. Those are positives in an organization. That’s how you build solid young players. It’s not only about the teaching, about the coaching, it’s about who do you have around. It’s about good people.”
