The only reason Glencross is on pace for a career year is because he got injured in previous seasons. He's on the same pace as last year and the year before in terms of points, but less for goals. His best pace was in 2011/12 when he had 26g and 22a in 67 games. In 82 games that pace would be 32g 27a for 60 points. This year he is on pace for 17g 38a for 55 points.
I'd rather have a 32g 60pt player than a 17g 55pt player. As a spectator, I think Glencross is way less of a player than he was in 2011/12. He may be on pace for a "career year" but he's not as good as he once was.
