Odd since Glencross is probably blocking more shots than JG. And JG is probably just toeing the company line by wearing them, but really, why not? Literally doesn't hinder anything.

FYI, that picture of Glencross is actually from the 2012-13 season, before they even tried to implement that policy. I think he actually wears them now.
Obviously everyone will now be looking for who wears skate guards in the game thread tonight.
