I'm a hockey fan, and I'd love to attend a game like this - but $100, plus tax, just to get into the building? #### that. I don't have that kind of money to piss away on two hours' worth of entertainment. Watching it on TV costs me nothing more than what I'd be paying regardless.
This isn't a Leafs game. Montreal doesn't have a bunch of businessmen coming down from Bay Street with tickets the company bought them so they can be seen, hash out their business deals, and pay zero attention to the game at all. Tickets have to be priced at a level where, at the very least, middle-class fans can afford to bring their families without re-mortgaging their home.
