And, just to complete my opinions on all parties, there is a recent poll that says more Canadians view Mulcair as a better potential leader than Trudeau, but less likely to be able to knock off the Conservatives:

I'd probably give some qualified support to that. Mulcair seems to have finally stopped trying to live off Layton's legacy, and it is nice to see him finally living on his own name. Likable enough, but I'd vote separation before I voted NDP, so he's DOA as an option from the get-go.
