I currently live in Chestermere and are building our second house there. I believe it's a great place to raise a family and it also has a small town feel to it. A lot of people I went to school with in the Properties live out there too. I work in the SE part of Calgary so the commute is really good. We looked at Mahogany and didn't like the feel of the community. It felt cramped and the price for an average lot was ridiculous. For the same price we were able to get a bigger lot and back on to a pond. If you want to live in suburbia, I highly recommend the place.

The thing I never got about Chestermere is there is no centre of town.

It just seems to be house after house with some stores thrown in.
