I have regrets about rolling a Qunari sword and board Warrior. I've gotten about 45 hours into the game, and I've gotten bored... I charge into battle, mass taunt, then switch back and forth between enemies. Block. Smash. Taunt. Block. Smash. Taunt.
If it weren't for the fact that I've spent so much time on my game, I'd restart as a mage or a rogue. Assassin or Knight-Enchanter...

You can just play as one of your party members in combat and set the taunt, the block, the smash as the only preferred talents, disable the other stuff and never have to use the warrior again. I've got a board and sword dwarf and he's very useful, fun to switch over to the mages and just let the warrior play it out.
One thing I do like is how the game makes the character actually feel important. Instead of just a random prisoner washed ashore or miraculously freed like every other rpg the protagonist seems to garner attention everywhere immediately and it's a nice change. After the events in Haven it really gets interesting, no idea how far I am into it. Seen most of the major open areas save 1 or 2 but haven't fought a single dragon.
