This is such an exageration it's borderline insane. Every level? U-17? U-18? Both successful. Had an excellent super series.
Let's not sugar coat the fact also that Portland is a veritable super power yearly in the WHL. Filled to the brim with first rounders every year. Petan is good and no slight on him but he's consistently been surrounded with better line mates throughout his junior career. Whereas Regina? There pretty much been Klimchuk. Over a ppg so far this year and has 10 less GP than the team mates ahead of him.
Cut the kid some slack here. He will be the Pats leading scorer by the end of the season if he stays there.
