Yeah, I saw a few comments about that after I posted my comment here. Obviously, I didn't follow the instructions very well. That said, the roof looks to hang a bit low on the original version, so I'm happy with my modification (the dormer window got moved up one row), even if the door isn't built to code.
My next modification will be to see about making the dormer window open up to the inside of the house, instead just how it just sticks on to the roof now. It will take some roof engineering and changing of the roof supports, but I think it can be done.
ETA: I also added taillights to the snowplow--what snowplow doesn't have taillights? Perhaps a salt-spreader box will go on the back part of the plow too.
