Oh without a doubt Radiohead are best Brit band of the 90's (Portishead runners up), but thankfully Radiohead isn't Britpop which is generally not that good (except for the aforementioned Pulp). I kind of view Pablo Honey and the Bends as Britpopish. A lot of it sounds like Suede with heavier guitars, especially the vocals.
I like Portishead a lot too. That whole Bristol sound is awesome, Morcheeba and Moloko are also good.
The UK was awesome in the 90s for music.
