I still worry that someone will catch him given his size and of course, it will always be a possibility but because his IQ is so high, he seems to always be aware of everyone around him and where they are going. I've seen players try to line him up, he literally spins off checks. I'm less worried about him getting hit than someone like Poirier, Byron or Bennett because they can't spin like he does. It's like Johnny turns the forward momentum into rotational momentum and absorbs the hit that way, he's done it many times. The only time he's been caught is in the preseason when he dodged a check completely so the other guy hit him with a backhand because he missed the check, wasn't too happy watching Johnny's head bounce off the glass on a dirty hit.
