Makarov was a highly skilled player as well, possibly one of the most skilled to have played the game, but he wasn't small. He was built like a tank and could take a ton of abuse. Gaudreau will never be like that. I don't think we'll ever find a comparable for Gaudreau. He is what he is and we've never seen a player like him before. We may never see another like him.
