“He wanted to keep his traditional flat black look,” Livery said. “We ended up doing gloss black flames with black pinstripes with the rest of the mask flat black. On the backplate he loves Poseidon so we did a cool picture of that with his name on the bottom and his wife and daughter’s names on the top. It’s definitely a unique mask that you don’t see in the NHL very often. We are excited to start design on his next mask soon too.”
