I'm going to give you the smart-ass answer.

It all depends on when I pay it off.

The amount of interest I pay on the loan is what will in the end, determine how much of a kick in the balls it was, or how much I paid for it. I had a plan and it may have been a flawed one, but I stuck with it based on my first experience of buying a car. Put down a fairly large chunk of cash, trade-in my car and spread the payments out over 5 years. By doing so, I make the payments small so in the meantime I can save, save, save like a busy little bumblebee and for each of the next 3-4 sets of 6 month periods, I can slam down another payment, paying it off in potentially less than two years and decreasing that interest with each passing payment.

All told I'm not quite sure of the exact dollar figure, I have to go over it in specifics with the Business manager at Platinum when the car arrives in town. It's quoted on the website at the correct price when you put the sun and sound option on and the sporttronic shift. I stayed away from accessories though, you can get OEM after market way cheaper. $31,293 is the listed price. But there are other things they don't like to inform you of, specifically things such as tire tax and "documentaion fees".
