It may just be me but are the other teams putting more pressure on our top 4D? It seems like as soon as one of them have the puck they are feeling pressured and try to make the fancy pass which is typically being intercepted. Maybe they need to try to spin off the pressure or eat the puck a bit instead of trying a pass that is not going to work? Or instead of trying to get it up ice use your other Dman to ease the pressure some.
That being said when the Dmen do activate up ice, when it gets to the opposition's end a forward needs to drop back, way too many odd man rushes are happening. Our dmen are more skilled than the forward ranks so you want them to activate when they get a chance but make damn sure the winger pulls back to cover. Earlier on you would always see a man fall back to cover, now it seems like we are wanting to rush 4 men, will not work out well most times!
