It's not necessarily ignorant but just like some people are unreasonably optimistic you have a habit of being unreasonably pessimistic. We all come here to be fans together and discuss the team.
We all also know that the Flames are on a 5-game losing streak and they are down 1-0 looking at a 6-game streak. We want to believe in our team and hope for the best (like the excitement of all those early games where we tied it with a minute left in regulation). When you keep putting down the team, you're putting down everyone's desire to believe and it's honestly a bit of a buzzkill.
I hope you understand a little why people keep reacting negatively to you, we just want to enjoy the game with an upbeat feeling.
(I guess I don't claim to speak for everyone, but I think this would be representative of a lot of them)
