I'm not sure what the big deal is, but then I don't have the 100 level. From what I can tell this is just Shaw changing the levels of new plans, not changing current levels of services. It's funny that less people seem to get pissed off when Telus/Rodgers change their plan levels for cell phones, but as soon as Shaw touches the internet people snap.

The price increase sucks but it's nothing new. If you like your current plan you shouldn't have any changes other than the price bump.

Edit: I called Shaw today because I have had the same plan for a long time. I changed the TV packages around and bumped up my internet to the next level and ended up paying like $2 less than before and all I lost was some SD channels, but who cares about that.
