Stewart has percieved negative value due to his reputation of being a lazy player. However, if anyone could break him out of that mentality, it's Hartley. The fact that they kicked tires on Stewart to some degree of seriousness means that Flames management has enough faith in the coach to bring that out of him - the '1st' Chris Stewart that Calgary4Life described. We could have another big body winger if Stewart puts the work in and buys into Calgary's culture - kinda like how Chris Simon did pretty well with us back in '04.
If Buffalo wants a B-level prospect and an AHL player, I'd give them Reinhart (B-level prospect) and Ramage(AHL player) for impending UFA Stewart and a mid round pick.
